Commercial website & creative business

A digital home for live experiences.

Lakeland Cabaret brings music, fire performance, photography, videography, and wedding ceremonies together under one clear customer experience.

I designed and built the public website for this Mid-Michigan entertainment business. I defined the information architecture, service and pricing presentation, visual direction, responsive behavior, and inquiry path, then delivered and maintained the production site.

Inquiry focusedClear paths from exploration to conversation

Make a broad creative business feel focused.

The business offers services that range from DJs and live fire performance to visual storytelling and wedding ceremonies. The site needed to explain each offering on its own, show how they could work together, establish useful pricing expectations, and encourage a visitor to start a conversation without making the experience feel transactional.

Music & DJ

Event-focused music and atmosphere for celebrations of many kinds.

Fire performance

A visually distinctive live offering presented with energy and clarity.

Photo & video

Story-led creative services for events, families, and milestone moments.

Wedding officiant

A personal ceremony service integrated into the wider event offering.

Product thinking beyond the code.

This project connected technical implementation with the decisions needed to present and operate a real creative business online.

Information architecture

Organized several distinct services into a simple story that moves from possibility to detail, pricing, and inquiry.

Visual direction

Built a recognizable system around deep blue, warm yellow, editorial typography, photography, and generous composition.

Responsive experience

Adapted navigation, imagery, service cards, pricing content, and calls to action for wide and narrow screens.

Content & conversion

Wrote and structured customer-facing content to answer practical questions while keeping a clear route to contact.

A polished brochure site, engineered as a real product.

The implementation uses Angular and TypeScript with semantic HTML, responsive CSS, optimized image formats, accessible navigation, and production metadata. The result is a maintainable site that can evolve with the business instead of a one-off static mockup.
